The Truckee Donner Railroad Society needs your help. We have plenty of ways to get involved:

The mission of the Truckee Donner Railroad Society is to perpetuate the study, advancement, and knowledge of the working railroad in the Truckee Donner area with the goal of building a railroad museum to preserve and share what we have learned.

Volunteer Docent and visitors Museum Docent Wanted -- Docents for the Truckee Railroad Museum. It's simple, it's fun! No experience necessary. If you have as little as 3 hours a month, please volunteer to be a docent. Museum Manager
3 volunteers Kid's Train

We need engineers, conductors, stationmasters and greeters to help us run the trains during the summer. Also needed are volunteers to help us expand the current track. And lastly, we need a manager who can help with other track signage, history signage, structure installations, Operation Lifesaver program, station canopy construction, new operational signage, fun signs, etc..

Volunteers working on Pullman railcar Rolling Stock Restoration & Preservation Currently, we need volunteers to help us preserve and restore a 1950's pullman and a rotary snow plow. Equipment Manager
